Serving the Community: Our Annual Thanksgiving Tradition

Every year, on the evening before Thanksgiving, we gather at our cherished spot to share a warm and hearty Thanksgiving dinner with our wonderful community. Over 200 people join us year after year, not just for a meal but to create memorable moments of connection and joy that truly embody the holiday spirit. Giving back is meaningful, and standing together makes it even more so.

Custom Cares, founded by Perry Mandera, was built on a heartfelt belief: that those in need should always be remembered and supported. What started as a small act of kindness has grown into a treasured annual tradition that lovingly brings comfort, dignity, and warmth to families across our community.

Our team, led by CXO Joseph Klikas and his family, along with Michael Mandera and his wife, proudly serve community members, working hand-in-hand with sales and leadership teams. It’s truly heartwarming to share these special moments together. Since Thanksgiving highlights unity, gratitude, and appreciation for what we have, the best way to honor it is by sharing with others.

Thanks to Custom Cares, many families have enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner full of traditional favorites: turkey, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, lasagna, salads, desserts, and much more.
